descarga (1)“The jungle book” (2016) is a movie directed by Jon Favreau, produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Fairview Entertainment and Moving Picture Company (MPC), the main character is Neel Sethi with Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Scarlett Johansson as the voices of the different animals.

In this reimangining of the classic collection of stories by Rudyard Kipling, director Jon Favreau creates the community of animals surrounding Mowgli, a human cub adopted by a pack of wolves. The return of the villainous tiger called Shere Khan forces Mowgli’s guardian, the panther Bagheera, to shepherd the child to safety in the “man village”. Along the way, the boy meets an affable, lazy bear called Baloo, as well as Kaa, a snake with hypnotic powers, and King Louie, an orangutan who wants to harness the power of fire.

The first time we saw the trailer of this movie, immediately made us to want to see it. “The jungle book” is one of our favourite tales of when we were children, and the scene, animal’s voices and the music have really impacted us.

After having watched this movie, we can say it is amazing. From the very first to the last scene, with all the animals together at the  Peace Stone, with a really upset Shere Khan because humans are forbidden in the jungle, not to mention all the adventures Mowgli has to pass to be safe from Shere Khan.

We have seen the 3D original version of this movie and we have to say we really enjoyed each one of the 3D effects. A special mention is deserved for all the great and awesome voices which have been selected for the animals, our favourite one was Shere Khan’s, interpreted by Idris Elba.

As long as we loved watching this movie in original version, we want to see in Spanish as well, because Spain really has great and awesome voice actors and in the Spanish trailer these voices look fantastic.

To be honest with all of you, we have to say there was a difficult part  to understand for us in this movie because all the voices were together, and that part says:

“Now this is the law of the jungle, as old and as true as the sky. And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and back. For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack.”

If you have not seen this movie yet and you like this tale, the only advice we can give to you is  to try to see it in 3D. And as always, you have the trailer hereafter:
